Sri Vijaya Puram, July 22: Ms. Sujata Lall, a Class X student of Government Model Senior Secondary School Aberdeen Sri Vijaya Puram, has been selected as a National Finalist for the international Mission ShakthiSAT program. Sujata Lall enrolled in the mission in 2025 through her school’s Atal Tinkering Lab has completed around 120 hours of trainings, 21 learning modules, and more than 550 lessons related to space science. After successfully clearing the technical evaluation and national interview, she earned her place as a national finalist. She will participate in a National Workshop to be held from 22nd to 31st August at Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida. During the workshop, she will work alongside participants from India and other countries to receive training in satellite design, space science, and innovation.
Under the Mission ShakhtiSAT program, two Moon satellites (MoonSats) designed and developed by students will be launched by ISRO from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, on 11th October 2026.
