
Sri Vijaya Puram, July 26: Andaman and Nicobar Islands Development Corporation Limited (ANIIDCO) conducted a POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Sensitization and Capacity Building Awareness Programme on July 17 in the Conference Hall of Vikas Bhawan. The programme was facilitated by Ms. Rubina Siddiqui, President, Rights for All (RFA), who served as the resource person.
The programme was attended by officers and staff members of the Corporation. During the session, Ms. Siddiqui explained the key provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act), outlining the rights and responsibilities of employees and the need to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
As part of the programme, all participants took the POSH Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining a workplace free from sexual harassment and promoting dignity, respect, and ethical conduct.
The programme reflects ANIIDCO’s continued commitment to creating awareness, strengthening institutional capacity, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace for all employees.
