Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 3: All Industries, Establishments, Institutions, Healthcare Facilities (HCFs), Veterinary Healthcare Facilities, local bodies, infrastructure projects, and other stakeholders falling under the purview of the Andaman & Nicobar Pollution Control Committee (ANPCC) have been informed that applications for Consent to Operate (CTO) may be submitted online through the Unified Consent Management & Monitoring System (UCAMS) portal.
In pursuance of the decision taken by the XXXIX meeting of the Andaman & Nicobar Pollution Control Committee (ANPCC), applications for Consent to Operate (CTO) shall be considered and processed irrespective of the status of Consent to Establish (CTE), wherever applicable, subject to compliance with the provisions of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, and other applicable environmental laws, rules, and guidelines.
Accordingly, all industries and stakeholders that are operating without a valid Consent to Operate (CTO) have been advised to submit their applications at the earliest through the UCAMS Portal: https://ucams.cpcb.gov.in.
Applicants have been advised to ensure that all requisite information and supporting documents are uploaded along with the online application to facilitate timely processing.
