Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 11: ICAR-Central Island Agricultural Research Institute, Sri Vijaya Puram has invited applications from interested farmers / youth / women from the islands for its upcoming three days training programme on ‘scientific cultivation & post-harvest management of major spice crops of the bay islands’ to be held during August 17-19, 2026 at the Garacharma campus of the Institute.
The number of participants is limited to 25 and interested persons may send their name, educational qualification, age and profession to Dr. Ajit Arun Waman, Senior Scientist and Course Director on 9933263441 on or before 14/08/2026. The training is being organized with the financial support of Directorate of Arecanut and Spices Development, Kozhikode and technical support of All India Coordinated Research Project on Plantation Crops for the benefit of island farmers.
