Kadamtala, Aug 11: On 10.08.2026, PS Kadamtala received a report regarding the missing of a 14-year-old Class IXth student from her residence at Rajiv Nagar, Uttara, Kadamtala at around 0500 hrs.
Acting promptly on the information, an FIR under Section 137(2) BNS, 2023 was registered at PS Kadamtala. The matter was accorded immediate priority and prompt search and tracing efforts were initiated by the police team by examining CCTV footage, checking passenger manifests and conducting ground-level enquiries, which led to vital information about her presence in Shantanu, Kadamtala.
Through swift and coordinated efforts, the minor girl was safely traced on the same day from Shantanu, Kadamtala. After completion of all necessary legal and procedural formalities, she was safely reunited with her mother.
The successful tracing of the minor girl reflects the prompt response, vigilance and unwavering commitment of N&MA District Police towards ensuring the safety and security of children and citizens.
