Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 13: As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign-2026, August 14, 2026 will be observed as ‘Partition Horror Remembrance Day’, by Ministry of Culture, Govt of India.
In this connection, the Directorate of Art & Culture will be organizing a state level function in the auditorium of Tagore Govt. College of Education on 14th August 2026 at 9.30 AM to solemnly recall the immense upheaval and pain endured by countless individuals during this tragic chapter in India’s history. The general public have been requested to join us in paying heartfelt tribute to the grit and resilience of those affected by the Partition.
