Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi Conducts Thalassemia Awareness Camp at VKV School, Lamba Line

Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 27: Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi today conducted a Thalassemia Awareness Camp at VKV School, Lamba Line, with the objective of creating awareness among young students about thalassemia, its prevention, genetic aspects and the importance of early awareness and responsible health practices.

The session was conducted by Mrs. Ankita, Board Certified Genetic Counselor (Level I & II), who sensitively explained the basics of thalassemia and highlighted the importance of genetic counselling, screening and awareness, particularly among youngsters.

Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi sincerely expressed its gratitude to Mrs. Ankita for taking the time to interact with the students and for sharing her valuable knowledge and expertise on the subject.

The organisation also extended its heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Jaya, Principal, VKV School, and the entire school management for their support and for providing a platform to create awareness among the younger generation.
