Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 11: The Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, in coordination with the Departments of IP&T & Education, is organizing the North Bay Mini Marathon, a prestigious calendar event of the Islands Monsoon Festival.
The Mini Marathon 10 KM Open Men & Women Road Race is scheduled to be held on 12th September, 2026 at 6 am, commencing from Chunnabatta to North Bay Beach and back to Chunnabatta.
To ensure safe, smooth and timely movement of all concerned participants, officials, event staffs and general public, a special ferry service has been arranged by the Directorate of Shipping Services at 5 am on 12th September from Chatham jetty to Bambooflat Jetty for necessary transportation to reach the event venue well in advance.
All are requested to report at the designated boarding point, i.e., Chatham Jetty well in advance by 4.45 am to reach the venue in time.
