Diglipur, Sept. 11: The 6th Andaman & Nicobar State Conference of All India Kisan Sabha held at Diglipur, North Andaman on 8th September, 2026 has elected Dr Gouranga Majhi, Aviram Mazumdar and KP Paul as President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively of the new State Committee of the AIKS.
PK Sarkar, SR Mridha, Nikunjo Biswas and Dilip Karmakar are the new Vice Presidents while P. Sathyapal, Prakash Sardar and Suresh Chowkidar have been elected as Joint Secretaries.
15 members including a Special Invitee were elected to the State Committee.
The Conference has elected Dr Gouranga Majhi, Aviram Mazumdar, SR Mridha and Dilip Karmakar as Delegates for the 36th All India Conference of AIKS to be held in Nalgonda, Telengana from 15th to 18th November, 2026.
