After Preparing the Biggest Laddu of India in 2025, the Determined Chef Ashwar Pal Singh Breaks his Own Record in 2026 by Coming up with a Massive 5575 Kilo Laddu

Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 14: The unstoppable Chef from Andaman & Nicobar Islands, who has been making the Islands proud by preparing huge Laddus on the occasion of Ganesh Chathurthi and breaking records, is up again with another massive preparation. After preparing a Laddu weighing 4442 Kilos last year (2025), which was recorded as the biggest Laddu in India for the year, Ashwar took a leap forward this year and has come up with another giant Laddu weighing 5575 Kilos. Though the Laddu is a record in itself, the official confirmation for it being the biggest Laddu in India, is still awaited.

The largest individual Laddu in the world weighs 29,465 kilograms and was made in Tapeswaram, Andhra Pradesh, India in the year 2016. Though it’s a long way to reach near this world record, yet small and consistent step in the right direction is the key for Chef Ashwar.

Addressing the media after unveiling the 5575 Kilo Laddu on 13th Sept. 2026, Ashwar explained that to prepare the Laddu, his organisation 4 Seasons Event Management Company never has accepted any donations in any kind. It was all arranged by the organisation along with the sincere and dedicated efforts of his team, who worked hard day and night for a week to get the Laddu standing tall.

This year the theme of Lord Ganesha’s Laddu was Nature and Tradition. The volunteers who wanted to donate and contribute were asked to donate plants, which was later distributed among the deserving members of the society.

The 5575 Kilo Laddu was today safely transported from VIP Road using a Crane and Truck to Netaji Club, Aberdeen Bazar and was offered to Lord Ganesha. The shifting process itself took around three and a half hours. Speaking to Andaman Chronicle, Chef Ashwar added, we are hopeful that the year 2026 will be in our favour like last year to be the record breaking Laddu again. Will have to weight for a couple of months to get the news, the Chef concluded.
