Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 28: The Office of the District Magistrate, South Andaman has informed the general public and all interested persons that the e-District Portal of the A&N Administration will be open for submission of applications for grant of Temporary Licence for Retail Sale of Fireworks/Crackers during Diwali Festival, 2026. Interested persons may apply online through the e-District Portal from 28.09.2026 to 12.10.2026. No offline/manual applications will be entertained.
Applicants have been advised to submit their applications along with all requisite particulars and documents within the prescribed period. Grant of the temporary licence shall be subject to fulfilment of the prescribed licensing, site, fire safety, electrical safety and other applicable statutory requirements, and approval of the competent authority. All interested citizens have been requested to make use of the online facility and submit their applications within the stipulated period.
