The electricity consumers, general public and Government Departments have been informed that the power supply will remain suspended on 01.10.2026 from 7 AM to 1 PM due to the shutdown of 11 kV and 33 kV underground power cables as a precautionary measure to facilitate urgent pipeline rectification work being carried out opposite VKV School, Lamba Line, by APWD. The areas to be affected are Dairy Farm Junction, CPWD Complex, Lamba Line, Ranchi Tekri, School Line (entire area), parts of Minnie Bay, Gurudwara Line, Bengali Club, Biggi Line, Anthropological Museum, Middle Point, Link Road, VIP Road, Police Line, and parts of Junglighat.
Further, power supply will remain suspended on 03.10.2026 from 8 AM to 1 PM for carrying out maintenance work on the 11 kV Bus connected to the 10 MVA Transformer at Chatham Power House. The areas to be affected are Buniyadabad, AIR, DDK Colony, part of Delanipur, part of Prem Nagar, Coast Guard Enclave, Coast Guard HQ, Coast Guard Jetty, Panipat Road & Fortress Head Quarter.
