Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 15: The Draft Andaman and Nicobar Islands Model Inland Vessel Rules, 2026, have been uploaded on the official portal of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration (https://andamannicobar.gov.in/Ann_all) to invite comments and suggestions from stakeholders and the general public.
All concerned stakeholders, including inland vessel owners and operators, are requested to examine the draft Rules and submit their comments and suggestions within 30 days from the date of uploading
Comments and suggestions may be submitted either by email to the Harbour Master, Port Management Board, at hm.pmb@nic.in, or by post addressed to the Harbour Master, Port Management Board, Sri Vijaya Puram. Submissions should clearly identify the relevant Rule or provision and specify the proposed modifications, wherever applicable.
All comments and suggestions received within the stipulated period will be examined before finalisation of the Rules.
