Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 19: Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, Dr. Dinesh Sharma today held a meeting with the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police at Lok Niwas, Sri Vijaya Puram, ahead of his visit to Delhi. The meeting reviewed the law & order situation and issued directions to expedite measures for the prevention and treatment of swine flu. Alongwith this, Agniveers were appointed with the approval of the Government of India and directed the deployment of an ambulance van at Radhanagar Beach and a rescue boat at Elephanta Beach.
