Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 25: Dr. Sapna Bansal, Professor and Director and Head of International Outreach and Inclusivity at Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), University of Delhi, interacted with B.Com. and M.Com. students of JNRM and shared valuable insights on career development, skill enhancement, self-reliance, and entrepreneurship.
During the interaction, Dr. Sapna Bansal emphasized the importance of developing essential skills to become independent and self-reliant. She encouraged students to identify and analyze their individual strengths and weaknesses, recognize their potential, and make informed career choices based on the opportunities available to them.
Highlighting the increasing competition for Government employment, Dr. Bansal advised students not to restrict their career aspirations to conventional employment opportunities. Instead, she encouraged them to explore entrepreneurship as a promising alternative career path, formulate effective plans, set clear goals, and take proactive steps towards achieving professional independence. She also stressed the importance of seeking guidance and assistance whenever necessary to overcome challenges and make informed decisions.
Earlier, the programme commenced with Dr. Pearl Devdas, Principal, JNRM, introducing the invited expert to the students.
