Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 29: The Bharatiya Janata Party, A & N Islands, organized Seva Sankalp Abhiyan all over the Islands from 17th Sept 2026 to 17th October 2026. Under this abhiyan various social and inspirational programs were conducted by the team of BJP. As a part of this program Drawing Competitions was organized in different schools on the topic of “Viksit Bharat” and “Mission 2047”. More than 150 students participated in the competition in both Senior as well as Junior category. A team of Artist / Drawing Teachers adjudged the drawings and three winners in each category and from each school were selected as best drawings. Similarly, among the selected drawings cups were given to First, Second and Third level winners/Schools for Junior as well as Senior category.
Today, an award function was organized at Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram Hall to present prizes to drawing competition winners and schools.
Shri. Anil Kumar Tiwari, State President, BJP, A & N Islands and Hon’ble Member of Parliament, A & N Islands were the Chief Guests on the occasion.
After presenting the award Shri. Anil Kumar Tiwari addressed the students and advised them to follow the guidance of both parents and teachers and work hard for their progress in life. He also told the students to dream big and try to fulfill the aspirations of the society.
Shri. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament, said that the students of today are leaders of tomorrow. He advised the students to carry the wish of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India in their shoulders and strive to make our country a developed country by 2047.
Shri. P. Ramachandran, Convenor, Teacher Cell and convener of Drawing Competition delivered the welcome address and Dr. R. Dev Das, State Office Secretary conducted the program.
