Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 30: The A&N Administration has achieved a significant milestone in the implementation of the Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) [VB-G RAM G] Act, 2025, by achieving 99.84% e-KYC completion among active workers, placing the Union Territory at Rank 1 among all States/UTs in the country.
The e-KYC initiative plays a crucial role in strengthening transparency, accountability and digital governance by ensuring the authentication of worker records and improving the reliability of programme data. It also supports the effective implementation and monitoring of the rural employment programme.
This remarkable accomplishment has been made possible through the concerted efforts of the Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs, District Administration, Block-level officials, Gram Panchayats and other functionaries involved in the implementation of VB-G RAM G.
