Mayabunder, Nov. 2: Its been four months since the CCS Ltd. delivered LPG Cylinders in the Rest Camp area of Mayabunder, as alleged by the residents. The agitation and frustration grew so much that today afternoon, the residents stopped a CCS Ltd. Truck while it was returning from Diglipur and started demanding to deliver the cylinders to them. The residents were of the opinion that the truck had filled cylinders apart from the empty ones, which was being taken back to Sri Vijaya Puram.
The residents initially stopped only the LPG cylinder loaded truck and later decided to have a chakka jam, stopping the movement of all vehicles passing through the area if the cylinders were not delivered to them.
