On the occasion of the 26th Kargil Vijay Diwas, observed on 26th July 2025, I extend my heartfelt greetings and felicitations to the people of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Kargil Vijay Diwas stands as a solemn tribute to the extraordinary courage, unwavering determination and supreme sacrifice of our valiant soldiers who, in the face of formidable adversity, defended our nation’s honour with unmatched bravery. Their enduring legacy continues to inspire generations, instilling in all of us a profound sense of patriotism and a steadfast resolve to uphold the ideals of a united and sovereign India.
This historic milestone not only commemorates a glorious chapter in our military history but also reaffirms the deep-rooted spirit of “Nation Above All” that defines our armed forces.
On this day, I urge every citizen of the Islands to remember, with reverence and gratitude, the exemplary service and ultimate sacrifice of our brave heroes. Let us honour their memory by rededicating ourselves to the cause of nation-building, unity and peace.
