Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 3: The Andaman and Nicobar AIDS Control Society (ANACS) will organize the RED RUN, Marathon of 5 Km on August 26, 2025 to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS among the general public. This event is open to all individuals aged 15 years and above among the three categories: Male, Female, and Transgender.
The marathon will start from Andaman Club, proceed to New Lighthouse Restaurant continue via Rajiv Gandhi Road to Dignabad Jetty and then return along the same route with the finish point at Andaman Club.
Attractive cash prizes will be awarded in each category with Rs.10,000 for 1st place, Rs. 8,000 for 2nd place, and Rs. 5,000 for 3rd place. Online registration for the RED RUN is open from 1st August to 20th August, 2025. For those who could not register online, on-the-spot registration will also be available on 26th August, 2025 at the event venue.
