Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 7: Shri Vinayak Chamadia, IAS, Additional District Magistrate/Sub-Divisional Magistrate, South Andaman, undertook an official visit to Little Andaman on 06th August 2025. During the visit, Shri Vinayak Chamadia, along with Shri Firoj Alam, DANIPS (EG), SDPO Swaraj Dweep, convened a meeting at the Panchayat Samiti Bhawan, Hut Bay, with the Heads of various line Departments and concerned elected representatives (PRIs) of Little Andaman Tehsil.
The meeting focused on reviewing key developmental activities and discussing ongoing issues related to the region. Concerns raised by officials and PRIs were considered on merit, and assurance was given to expedite all works.
A Camp Court was also organized during the visit, wherein cases pertaining to land revenue matters such as mutations and diversions were successfully disposed of in the presence of the applicants. In addition, the public was made aware of the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana scheme aimed at providing free electricity to households through rooftop solar installations with subsidized support.
In addition, the ADM/SDM (SA) and team visited the PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School, R.K Pur, interacted with the Principal, School staff and students, reviewed the academic environment and inspected the Mid Day meal cooking area, appreciating efforts towards holistic and inclusive education.
