Public Representatives Join BJP, Strengthening the Party’s Presence in the Islands

Sri Vijaya Puram, May 13: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Andaman and Nicobar Islands has announced the joining of several prominent public representatives into the party fold, further strengthening its grassroots presence and commitment to public service in the Union Territory.

Among those who joined the BJP are:

Smti D. Radhika, Independent Councillor of SVPMC

Shri Dheeraj Ram, Former District President, BJYM

Shri Dasrath Verma, Zilla Parishad Member

Shri Abdul Basheer, Zilla Parishad Member

Smti Dhana Rekha, Zilla Parishad Member

The formal joining took place on 9th May 2025 at the BJP State Office in Port Blair in the presence of the State Leadership, District Leadership, and enthusiastic karyakartas.

Welcoming the new members, the BJP leadership emphasized that their inclusion reflects the growing trust in the party’s vision, inspired by the dynamic and development-oriented leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. The addition of these experienced and committed representatives is expected to further boost the party’s efforts in ensuring inclusive growth and responsive governance across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
