On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami on 16th August 2025, I extend my heartiest greetings and warm felicitations to all citizens of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, irrespective of caste, creed or community.
Janmashtami marks the divine birth of Lord Shree Krishna- an eternal symbol of love, wisdom and righteousness. His life and teachings continue to illuminate the path of truth and inspire millions around the world to lead lives rooted in compassion, purpose and moral integrity. The timeless message of the Bhagavad Gita, delivered by Lord Krishna, teaches us the essence of performing our duties selflessly, standing firm for justice and upholding righteousness even in the face of adversity.
The celebration of Janmashtami reminds us that good ultimately triumphs over evil and that divine grace accompanies those who walk the path of dharma.
May the blessings of Lord Shree Krishna bring peace, prosperity and happiness to every household and may this auspicious occasion further strengthen the bonds of unity and harmony in our society.
