Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 17: The Pradesh Youth Congress, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, on Monday organized a grand “Voter Adhikar Yatra” under the leadership of Shri. Uday Banu Chib, National President of Indian Youth Congress, who is on a visit to the Islands.
He was accompanied by senior national leaders of Youth Congress including Shri. Shrawan, National General Secretary, Youth Congress, Ms. Sagorika Roy, National Secretary, Youth Congress, and Ms. Sindhuja Raju, Incharge, Youth Congress A&N Islands.
The Yatra witnessed an overwhelming participation of more than 500 enthusiastic youths, raising their voices for the protection of democratic rights.
The rally was meticulously organized and stage-managed by Ms. Diksha Dular, State President, Youth Congress and Shri. M.A Sajid, State Vice President, Youth Congress with the strong support of Shri. Rangalal Halder, President ANTCC, and Shri. TSG Bhasker, Chairman Campaign Committee, ANTCC.
The rally commenced from Gandhi Bhawan, marched towards the Clock Tower, and culminated back at Gandhi Bhawan. The spirited youth raised powerful slogans of *”Vote Chor Gaddi Chodd”.
The event marked a significant show of unity, energy, and determination of the Youth Congress in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, reaffirming their commitment to safeguard democracy and the rights of voters.
