Billiground, Sept 18: A special medical camp was organized today at PHC Billiground as part of the ongoing Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, Smt. Sabitri Burman, Up-Sarpanch, in the presence of Shri Manojit Halder, Pradhan, Harinagar, and Shri Dilip Das, Samiti Member.
The camp brought together specialists and health professionals from across the region. A Dental Surgeon, Family Planning Counsellor, Psychosocial Counsellor, and Optometrist from Dr. R. P. Hospital, Mayabunder rendered their services, while a Yoga Instructor from CHC Rangat conducted special wellness sessions promoting physical and mental well-being.
Multiple healthcare activities and services were offered during the day, including dental and eye OPD consultations, NCD (Non-Communicable Disease) screening, yoga sessions, PM-JAY & ABHA registration, Ayush services, Nikshay ID creation and TB screening, anaemia screening, and adolescent health counselling. The camp witnessed an encouraging response with 150 participants availing different facilities.
