Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 19: The training for Geriatric Care Takers organized by SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Sri Vijaya Puram commenced today at its premises. Inaugurating the training as the chief guest, Dr. Shiny Varghese, Principal, School of Nursing, G B Pant Hospital advised the trainees to make full use of the training and be free to ask all doubts arising related to geriatric care, so that once they complete the training they would acquire adequate skills to provide quality care to the elderly.
In his address, Shri Santosh Kumar Sahu, Regional Manager, SBI congratulated the ladies for coming forward for the training with the intention for providing comprehensive care to the elderly for their overall well-being.
Earlier, welcoming the gathering, Shri C Raj, Director of SBI RSETI highlighted the importance of conducting such training which will benefit the society and also for the trainees as their source for income generation.
