Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Launches Two-Month Long Unity March Campaign Today

Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 6: The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports has launched the Unity March campaign today. This two-month-long campaign, culminating on Dec. 6 is dedicated to honouring the vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and furthering the message of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat. The Unity March, carrying forward the vision of Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat of Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, seeks to engage citizens across the country through padyatras, competitions, and youth-led initiatives, culminating in a National Padyatra from Karamsad (Sardar Patel’s birthplace) to Ekta Nagar (Statue of Unity).

Under the Unity March Campaign, a series of digital events are being held to raise awareness among the youth, about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s contribution to the nation.

1.Sardar Young Leaders Programme – a national quiz and selection process to identify 150 young leaders who will walk along with the Hon’ble Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports during the national level padyatra.

2. National Essay Competition – open to youth across the country.

3. National Social Media Reel Competition – on the themes of unity and Sardar Patel’s vision.

Process:

1. Visit www.mybharat.gov.in and click on Register Now.

2. Enter mobile number/email ID, generate OTP, and verify.

3. Fill in required details (Name, Date of Birth, Gender, District, Qualification, etc.).

4.Create password, accept Terms & Conditions, and submit.

5. Then click on the Unity March option on the MY BHARAT homepage.

6. Select the desired digital competition to take part.

             Sardar@150 Young Leaders Quiz (Eligibility -The quiz is open to all registered users but only youth aged 15-29 (as on 1st October, 2025) will be considered for advancing in further stages.)

             Sardar@150 Essay Competition. (Eligibility – The essay is open to all registered users but only youth aged 15-29 (as on 1st October, 2025) will be considered for advancing in further stages. One entry per participant. Multiple entries will be disqualified.)

             Sardar@150 National Reel Contest (Eligibility – Any individual in the age group of 15-29 years (as on 1/10/2025).

7. Click on “Live Now” option to start the competition.
