Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 8: The three-day meeting of the District Planning Committee, South Andaman District resumed on its second day today under the Chairmanship of Shri Prakash Adhikari, Chairperson, DPC South Andaman (Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad) in the Conference Hall of Zilla Parishad South Andaman to deliberate on the 03-Years Action Plan for FY 2026–2029 and the Supplementary Action Plan for FY 2025–2026 of South Andaman District, including Campbell Bay Revenue Areas.
During the proceedings, detailed discussions were held on the draft 03-Years Action Plan for FY 2026–2029 and the Supplementary Action Plan for FY 2025–2026 concerning Departments such as AH&VS, SVPMC, Fisheries, Social Welfare, Forest, Education, JNRM, ANCOL, DBRAIT, TGCE, Andaman Law College, Art & Culture, IT, CS&CA, Transport, Labour, Employment & Training, and RCS. Various recommendations and suggestions were presented by the Chairperson DPC, the Hon’ble Member of Parliament and Members of the DPC South Andaman for incorporation into the respective departmental plans to facilitate their timely implementation. The session concluded with vote of thanks.
