Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 9: The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Gol has launched a Scheme namely “National Overseas Scholarship” for Educational Empowerment and Socio Economical Development of students from Disadvantaged Sections of the Society. This Schemes support low income students belonging to Scheduled Caste, De-Notified Nomadic and Semi Nomadic Tribes, Landless Agricultural Labourers and Traditional Artisans Communities to pursue higher education in top 500 hundred QS World University ranking institutions abroad for Master or Ph. D. Degrees.
The candidates may submit their application in the NOS Portal (http://nosmsje.gov.in) on or before Oct. 24, 2025. Thereafter, the portal shall be opened for 4 days for Oct. 26 to 29 to allow the candidates who have already submitted their applications to make corrections, if any, in the submitted applications. The candidates are adviced to visit the NOS Portal (http://nosmsje.gov.in). The eligible criteria and other details are available in the Scheme Portal.
