Ferrargunj, Oct. 19: A block level training programme titled ‘fostering progressive rural entrepreneurship and poverty alleviation in rural areas’ was conducted on Oct. 16 at the CMTC Building, Ferrargunj, with participation from elected Women Representatives, Community Resource Persons, and Self-Help Group members. Addressing the gathering, Smt. Lalita Tigga, Block Development Officer, Ferrargunj, who emphasized the role of local leadership in driving sustainable development.
Dr. Pooja Kapoor, Subject Matter Specialist, ICAR-CIARI, Smt. Deepa Biswas, DE (Livelihood), Shri Rakesh Pangat, Deputy General Manager, NABARD spoke on the occasion.
A quiz competition was organized by Ms. Saakshi Saha, Block Programme Manager, to reinforce key learnings. Prizes were awarded to the winning groups.
