National Medical Commission Approves 13 Post Graduate Seats in 6 Disciplines at ANIIMS
Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 19: Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS) has achieved another milestone in its journey towards strengthening medical education and specialist health services in A&N Islands. National Medical Commission (NMC), New Delhi has approved 13 Post Graduate seats in 6 disciplines.

2. MD Biochemistry-02 Seats
3. MD Anaesthesiology-03 Seats
4. MS General Surgery-02 Seats
5. MS Anatomy-02 Seats
6. MS Ophthalmology-01 Seats
This approval marks a significant step forward for ANIIMS in enhancing medical education and developing specialist human resources within the Union Territory. The achievement aligns with the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047 and Government of India’s focus on expanding quality medical education and health care to every corners of the nation.
