ANM Training School Celebrates Convocation Ceremony of its 14th Batch

Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 10: The ANM Training School today celebrated the Convocation Ceremony of its 14th Batch at TGCE Auditorium marking a proud milestone in the institution’s ongoing journey of nurturing skilled and compassionate Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs).

Ms. Richa, Secretary (Health) and Chairman, Board of Examination, A&N Administration, graced the occasion as the chief guest congratulated the graduating students and urged them to serve society with compassion, confidence, and commitment. Dr. Suja Antony, Director of Health Services and Vice Chairman, Board of Examination, A&N Administration, as the guest of honour extended her blessings & best wishes to the new graduates.

Dr. Avijit Roy, Deputy Director (Health) and Administrative Head of ANM Training School addressed the gathering. The Principal, Smt. Bincy V. Kuruvilla, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the institution’s notable achievements in academic excellence, clinical training, and community outreach initiatives during the year. This was followed by the distribution of diplomas and special awards, including the Academic Excellence Award and the Best Outgoing Student Award, in recognition of the graduating students’ dedication and accomplishments.

The ceremony also took pride in felicitating distinguished alumni of the ANM Training School, including Padma Shri awardee Smt. Shanti Teresa Lakra and five recipients of the National Florence Nightingale Award, who have brought honour and inspiration to the institution through their exemplary service in the field of nursing.

An energetic group dance performance by the students added colour and vibrancy to the event. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Smti. H. Zahida Banu, Nursing Tutor.
