Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 14: WITH YOU NGO organised a vibrant Children’s Day celebration at the Shoal Bay-10 Anganwadi Centre, bringing joy and enthusiasm to the children of the rural community. Shri Kumar, Pradhan of Shoal Bay, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Kumar appreciated the commendable efforts of WITH YOU NGO and its dedicated team for choosing to celebrate this special occasion in a remote village. He highlighted the significance of Children’s Day and encouraged the children to follow the ideals and values of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, whose love for children is remembered across the nation.
The event featured colourful cultural performances by the Anganwadi students, showcasing their talent and confidence. As part of the celebration, toys were distributed to the children by WITH YOU NGO, adding excitement and happiness to the day.
Miss V. K. Mariyam Bibi, Founder President of WITH YOU NGO, extended her heartfelt gratitude to the Anganwadi workers and the Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Shoal Bay for their support and cooperation in making the program a grand success. Sweets were also distributed to all the children, marking the joyful conclusion of the event.
