Healing Prana – Brass to Cure

By Ashwini Guruji of Dhyan Ashram

Variations in colour of bottles and metals, when combined with Surya Prana, have a miraculous effect. Here, Yogi Ashwiniji describes the effect of water kept in brass vessel in the sun.

Brass (peetal) is a sub metal (updhatu), which is a mixture of two metals, namely copper and zinc. Brass is shiny yellow, smooth, soft and flexible. Pure brass is shiny, strong, flexible and non-breakable. In contrast, brass which is dull, reddish white, rough-yellow in colour (‘khurdura peela’), blackish, breakable and light in weight is considered to be impure and inedible.

Fill a brass container with fresh water and keep it in the sun for one to two hours. The water absorbs the qualities of brass and Surya Prana and is very effective in purifying blood, curing intestinal worms, skin disease, anaemia, asthma, diabetes, imbalances of vata and fissures. It is pungent, dry, mildly hot and purifies semen. It also promotes semen production.

The simple technique is extremely effective in removing imbalances of the body but remember that the purity of the metal used is very important to this practice. An impure metal can cause more ‘ashanti’ (turmoil) in the body, rather than ‘shanti’ (balance and harmony).
