Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 26: It has been observed that despite repeated directions, excess cargo is being bought at the time of loading at jetty by the labours/traders. To ensure safe and efficient cargo handling operations at the jetty, the Directorate of Shipping Services hereby brings to the attention of all stakeholders/labours/Government agencies and the general public to follow below mentioned guidelines to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient cargo booking and handling operations:

4. For the morning loading shift, cargo must be delivered before 10:00 AM. For the second loading shift, cargo must be delivered before 05:00 PM.
