Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 28: The Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, A&N Administration to conduct selection/ talent identification for interested Sports persons/Athletes (12-17 years) for inducting into the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence, Sri Vijaya Puram for the discipline of cycling.
Khelo India State Centre of Excellence is one of the key components under the Khelo India scheme which will ensure Sports science back-up, coaching, monitoring, and, sports equipments support, etc to the eligible talented sportspersons/athletes.
The Selection/Talent Identification for the disciplines of cycling will consist of General Physical Test and Specific cycling Test.
All the interested young athletes/ sportspersons willing to attend the selection /Talent Identification should report at Cycling Velodrome, Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram on Nov. 30 at 8 am along with required documents viz. Birth Certificates, Aadhaar Card both in original and copies and 2 Nos Passport size photographs.
