Little Andaman, Nov. 30: A day-long Block Level Training Programme was conducted under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) yesterday at Rabindra Nagar Gram Panchayat Hall, Little Andaman. The programme aimed to strengthen local governance and enhance the capacity of elected Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) representatives.
A total of 61 Pradhan and Ward Members participated in the training, which focused on the theme ‘Strengthening Local Governance: Training Elected Representatives on the Principle and Objective of PRIs.’ Earlier, Shri Vishal Mandal, Extension Officer welcomed the gathering. Shri. CH. Kiran Kumar (Domain Expert IT) was the Resource person.
The training was part of an ongoing effort to improve local administrative efficiency and empower PRI members to better serve their communities in the Little Andaman region.
