
Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 30: The first UPSC Civil Services Exam orientation programme was conducted at the State Library by Directorate of Education for UPSC aspirants today in the Conference Hall of the State Library, SVP.
Shri Vikram Singh, Director (Education), delivered a presentation providing a comprehensive overview of the UPSC examination structure, syllabus, and preparation strategies. He also highlighted the key resources available to aspirants and announced that the orientation-cum-coaching programme will be conducted regularly at the State Library for selected students including tribal students.
Ms. Tripti Kalhans, IAS, AC (Settlement), also explained the exam pattern for beginners and provided guidance on how to start their preparation, select appropriate books, and choose subjects effectively.
The session featured inspiring words from Shri Firoz Alam, SDPO, Swaraj Dweep, who shared his personal experiences, preparation insights, and valuable guidance with the participants.
Around 120 students attended the orientation programme, which also included a doubt-clearing session to address participants’ queries. Smt. Archana Singh, DDE (Plg.) Nodal Officer, State Library presented a token of gratitude to the officials.
