Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 4: With reference to News item issued in the Daily Telegrams Newspaper dated 26-11-2025 regarding Public Hearing for preparation of Draft Integrated Island Management Plan (IIMP) of Nancowry Island, Chowra Island, Tilongchong Island and Draft Island Coastal Regulation Zone Plan (ICRZ) of Katchal Island, Terresa Island, it is hereby informed that public hearing earlier scheduled for Chowra Island on 06.12.2025 at 9.30 am at Community Hall, Champin, Nicobar District stands postponed due to administrative reasons.
The public hearing for preparation of Draft Integrated Island Management Plan (IIMP) of Chowra Island has now been re-scheduled to 09-12-2025 11 am at APWD Guest House, Chowra, Nicobar District.
