Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 14: In exercise of the power conferred under M.V. Act 1988 (Act No.59 of 1988) read with Administration’s Notification No./2008/F.No.32-95/2008-TR dated 10th March, 2008, the District Magistrate, South Andaman District has notified for the information of all concerned that for the re-surfacing of the existing road starting from Old Police Station Satellite Colony to Austinabad Main road via Andal Basti will be closed for all the vehicles movements for 9 days w.e.f. 15.12.2025 to 23.12.2025.
During this period, all the vehicles will be diverted through alternate routes namely from:
1. Route near Type-II Quarter Complex
2. Route near E&M Junior Engineer’s Office
3. Route near Triple Stories Type-III Quarters
4. Two connecting routes from Andal Basti to Austinabad.
All concerned have been directed to ensure strict compliance with this notification in the interest of public safety.
