Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 16: The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, A&N Administration, is organizing Beach Games–2025 for Open Men and Women across all three districts of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands viz. South Andaman, North & Middle Andaman, and Car Nicobar from December 19 to 21.
The Beach Games will be held at Corbyn’s Cove Beach in South Andaman, Karmatang Beach in North & Middle Andaman, and Jayanthi Beach, Lapathy in Car Nicobar. The main objective of the event is to encourage beach sports and promote the message of a drug-free society under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The event also aims to ensure mass participation of youth and promote excellence in sports.
In South Andaman, the Beach Games – 2025 will be held from Dec. 19 to 21 at 3 pm onwards at Corbyn’s Cove Beach, South Andaman District. Interested participants/teams from Govt./Private Schools, Colleges and other Institution/ Organisation/Youth Club/General Public may collect the Entry Form from the Administration block of Sports and Youth Affairs (Room No. 3), Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram. There will be no Entry Fee for participation. Interested participants/Teams have been requested to submit their entry form on or before Dec. 18 at 5 pm positively. The details of the Sports disciplines are as under:
Volleyball, Kabaddi, Tug of War, 50m Sprint, 100m Sprint, Football (7 a side), Beach Sepak Takraw, Beach Mallakhamb, Pencak Silat: Corbyn’s Cove Beach (19.12.2025 to 21.12.2025)
