Diglipur, Dec. 18: The CD Block, Diglipur, conducted a block level training programme today on the theme ‘Preparation of Viable Financial Model for Generation of OSR in the Gram Panchayats’. The programme aimed to strengthen and empowering local leaders to achieve financial self-reliance. The program was attended by Pradhans, Panchayat Secretaries, MTS, VLWs, and Gram Sevaks (GS) to discuss innovative strategies for enhancing the internal revenue streams of Gram Panchayats.
In his address, the Block Development Officer (BDO), Shri M. Rajendra Kumar emphasized the importance of Own Source Revenue (OSR) funds while Ms.Ranjita Kabiraj, BPM, CD block Diglipur emphasized upon the Block Level Training Programme & Sustainable Development Goals and how to Saturate the themes.
Smt. E Vidya Mala and Smt. C Vijya, Domain Experts, enlightened the gathering on the theme of the training. The ceremony also included the felicitation of GP Subhashgram and GP Ramkrishna Gram for achieving the highest and second-highest revenue generation, respectively.
