CD Block Rangat Organises Training to Foster Synergies Between PRIs and Rural Youth

Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 21: The Block Development Office, CD Block Rangat, organized a Block Level Training Programme on the theme ‘Fostering Synergies between Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) and Rural Youth for Sustainable Community Development’ at the Panchayat Samiti Hall, Rangat. Shri Sujit Mistry, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Nimbutala, spoke on the structure, powers, and responsibilities of PRIs and highlighted the importance of active Gram Sabha participation in grassroots governance.

Shri Pradeep Kumar Singh, Block Development Officer, Rangat, emphasized the vital role of collaboration between PRIs and rural youth in strengthening inclusive and sustainable communities. Shri Mohammed Irfan, Block Programme Manager (RGSA), shared insights on the concept of model villages and stressed effective coordination between PRIs and rural youth for community-led development.

The technical session was conducted by Smti. Deepa Biswas, Domain Expert (Livelihood), RGSA.
