Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 30: The general public and all the consumers of Electricity Department, A&N Administration have been informed that the JERC has approved the Retail Tariff for the 4th control period i.e. FY 2025-26 to FY 2029-30 vide its Tariff order dated 28.10.2025 towards the Petition No. 151/2025 and has come into force w.e.f. 1st November, 2025.
The tariff structure and its applicability in the A&N Islands have been revised as per the new JERC guidelines issued in December 2024. The objective of JERC for this revision is to rationalize the retail tariff framework by introducing simplified and uniform consumer categories and sub-categories based on usage, voltage levels, contracted load, consumption, terms and conditions of supply, and miscellaneous charges across all distribution utilities under the jurisdiction of JERC.
The approved Tariff Order dated 28.10.2025 for the 4th control period FY 2025-26 to 2029-30 is available in the website of JERC (www.jercuts.gov.in) and in departmental website (http://vidyut.andamannicobar.gov.in).
