Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 01: A one day training on Anemia Mukt Bharat was organized for ANMs and CHOs on 29/12/2025 & 30/12/2025 at Conference Hall of AYUSH Hospital, Junglighat. The training was aimed to combat anaemia among children, adolescents, women, and pregnant mothers and focuses on improving nutrition, promoting iron-rich diets, and providing iron and folic acid supplements. The program was graced by Dr H.M Siddaraju, Director of Health Services, Dr. B. Ajit Kumar Link Officer Deputy Director (FW) and Dr. Kalyan P Kadhbane, Deputy Director (AYUSH).
The Director of Health Services emphasized on creating awareness on T3 (Test, Treat and Talk) camp in schools, Anganwadi Centres and Community level.
Dr. Bhawani Prasad S M, Assistant Professor (Medicine), ANIIMS, Dr Mitul Saha SR Community Medicine, ANIIMS and Dr. Rohit, SNO, UNDP were the resource persons for the above said training. Altogether 30 No. of ANMs and 25 CHOs from various health institutions were trained.
