Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 13: The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of A&N Islands has declared Jan. 14, 2026 as a Holiday in all Government Offices, Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertakings, Educational Institutions under the A & N Administration on account of Makar Sankranti/ Magha Bihu / Pongal.
The restricted holiday on occasion of Makar Sankranti/ Magha Bihu / Pongal earlier declared vide Notification No. 91/2025/F.No. M-13/18/2022-GA-Section-Sectt dated 12.11.2025 may be treated as Public Holiday.
