Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 16: A meeting was held with the representatives of National/State Political Parties today in the conference hall of the Office of Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman under the chairmanship of Returning Officer, Bye-Election, Ward No.17 to discuss the preparedness of Polling Stations and model code of conduct to be followed in the bye-election, Ward No.17 scheduled on 08.02.2026.
The Returning Officer has briefed on the agenda and status report of all the seven polling stations and model code of conduct to the representatives. The queries raised by the representatives were attended by the Returning Officer and requested all the candidates/political parties for cooperation during the entire election process and adhere to the Rules and norms of the election procedures.
