Haldia, Jan 21: The 22nd edition of ‘Biswa Bangla Sahitya O Sanskriti Utsav’ (World Literature and Culture Festival) was held in Haldia City of West Bengal from 16th to 18th January 2026, organised by Aapanjan Little Magazine and ICARE, Haldia. Near-about 500 poets, litterateurs, visual artists, singers and other cultural activists from different states of India as well as abroad took part in this lit fest.
Shri Anadiranjan Biswas, a Bengali Writer- Awardee of Hon’ble Lt. Governor’s Commendation Certificate in the field of literature as well as Editor of Bakkprotima, the only PRGI- registered Bengali Little Magazine published from A&N Islands, participant of this fest as the sole representative from these Isles, presented his poem in the 4th session of the second day (17 January 2026)’s programme.
