In terms of the provisions contained under Section 135C of the Representation of the People Act 1951, and A & N Excise Policy, 2013 clause 4.3 (a) (7), The Deputy Commissioner/ District Magistrate, South Andaman District hereby orders the following days to be observed as “DRY DAYS” in connection with the ensuing Bye-Election for the Gram Panchayat Member Constituencies of Mannarghat-4 of Gram Panchayat Mannarghat and Bambooflat-1 of Gram Panchayat Hope Town under Ferrargunj Tehsil, and Bye Election of Ward Councilor of Ward No. 17, Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council under Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsil.

No liquor shops, hotels, restaurants, clubs and establishments selling/serving liquor in entire area of Gram Panchayat Mannarghat and entire area of Gram Panchayat Hope Town of Ferrargunj Tehsil, entire area under Ward No. 17 of Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council, Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsil shall be permitted to sell/serve liquor to anyone whosoever on the aforesaid day.
This order is applicable to IMFL vending licenses i.e ANIIDCO, CSD Canteen, all Defence Canteen (URC), Police Mess and all private bar licensees functioning at above mention Gram Panchayat and Municipal Ward areas.
