Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb 3: Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman holds meeting of the District Water and Sanitation Committee to discuss the water availability and its management during the summer of 2026
The meeting was attended by the Special Secretary (APWD), Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, Chairman, SVPMC, PRI Members, Pradhans of Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Samiti Members, Ward Councillors, representative of the Hon’ble Member of Parliament and senior officials of APWD and SVPMC.
Discussions were held on the prevailing water scenario, preparedness measures and coordinated efforts required for water supply during the summer months. All suggestions and inputs put forth by the elected representatives and officials were duly noted.
